Some history on Creston for y’all …

With a reported population of just under 100 people, Creston is not a booming metropolis, but it will take you away from that. Just driving (or cycling) through the rolling hills, will make you feel like you are years away from the hustle and bustle of the world. Creston is named after Calvin J. Cressy, and was established back in 1884 on the Mexican land grant Rancho Huerhuero.

Another notable person, Scientology Founder L. Ron Hubbard, owned property in Creston and spent his last days at the Church of Spiritual Technology Ranch.
